Hay tantas que so super creativas y bellas que quise compartir con ustedes unas cuantas. A perfect look for a cool fall day, the layering of the tank, cardi and denim jacket will help to keep you warm. As if that was not enough the chunky infinity scarf will do the trick when a crisp breeze whisps by it will also help to accesorize and tie the look together. A comfy yet chic outfit for any relaxed occasion.

Como si eso no fuera suficiente la bufanda gruesa tipo infinito hará el truco cuando pase una brisa fuerte y también complementa el look. Es un atuendo cómodo pero elegante para cualquier ocasión relajada. After my "big chop" I visited my fav Walgreens to restock on my natural hair products and to also buy new products to try. I say it is my fav because they have all of the items I have either read about or have heard people talk about. I went in looking for a leave in conditioner, a conditioner for co-washing and a gel. I ended up purchasing... - TRESemme Moisture Rich conditioner (restock) -Aragon Oil strength and shine leave-in conditioner (new product) -Kinky, Wavy herbal comb out (restock for my baby) -Twisted Sista 30 second curl spray (new product) -Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner (restock) -Shea Moisture curling soufflé (new product) I have used the TRESemme Moisture Rich conditioner before as well as the shampoo although my all-time fav is PANTENE PRO-V RELAXED & NATURAL FOR WOMEN OF COLOR dry to moisture shampoo and conditioner. However for co-washing it can get expensive which is why I opt to use the TRESemme conditioner. It has a good sent, is light weight and leave my hair feeling soft and full. The next item that I have used in the past and needed to restock on was the Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner. I bought this item originally after my hair dye dilemma to nurse my curls back to good health. Although it was a failed attempt I fell in love with this product. It smells amazing and is very light weight so it doesn’t weigh your hair down. My hair soaks it up right away giving it the moisture it needs. This leave-in is packed with ingredients to help moisturize condition, detangle, repair and restore damaged hair. Another restock item was my daughter's leave-in conditioner. I had heard about this product through Curly Nikki's site and bought it as soon as I found it. My daughter has more of a 3C texture but her hair craves moisture and this product works great. It has a wonderful sent, isn’t greasy or heavy and helps to detangle, prevent breakage and condition. The Shea Moisture curling soufflé is a new product I picked up and I am really loving it, although it does leave a bit of a sticky/ greasy residue it is not too bad that I would stop using it. I love it because it really moisturizes my hair. The best part is that it gives my short new do that wet/gelled hair look but without the damage. It provides lots of shine and body too. Another new product for me is the Twisted Sista 30 second curling spray. So far I have only used this on second and even third day hair to spruce up my curls and somewhat refresh and revitalize them. The last new product I purchased for myself was the Crème of Nature Aragon Oil Strength and Shine Leave In conditioner. I use this daily as a nourishing and protective spray. I apply it before any product I use almost like food for my hair. It is a liquid protein complex to protect the hair and add shine.
I had the pleasure of being invited to cover the Emiliani Beauty Expo this past weekend. Emiliani Enterprises hosted their annual Beauty Show, Vision Becomes Reality at the NJ Convention Center in Edison, NJ. The biggest and best hair stylists in the industry were in attendance: Michael O’Rourke, Phillip Wilson, and more. During the three day event guests were able to enjoy stage performances from their favorite hairdressers, and participate in education classes in the “hands on arena.” Throughout the day guests attended cutting and styling classes, and purchased the latest beauty products that top exhibitors were showcasing at discounted rates. The event kicked off Saturday, October 15th at 6:30pm with a charity reception for Project Ladybug founded by reality star Dina Manzo of HGTV’s Dina’s Party, former RHONJ star. VIP guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and snacked on some hors d’ oeuvres while waiting for the amazing one hour presentation from Philip Wilson. Dina Manzo was presented a check from the Emiliani team for $5,000 dollars, from the money they raised by the cut-a-thon events participation salons hosted. After the show all guests got an exclusive preview of the salon floor while some of today’s hottest Reality-TV stars stopped by the media booth like Anthony Lombardi and Christy Pereira from Jerseylicious, and Carla Marie from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, NY’s hit radio station. There were many different vendors and a wide variety of products showcased. The best part were the prices, they had amazing deals and great buys. My only complaint was that it was more of a hair show versus a beauty show. There weren't that many make up vendors if any and I was expecting to see more nail art or decals. However there were many vendors for shelac/ gel polishes and systems. I would have liked to see more products catered towards the natural hair community but with that being said if I were currently a salon industry professional or student there were many new and affordable products to both learn about and buy. On Sunday, October 16th it was another day of non-stop artistry from 9-5pm. During the event, today’s top salons, such as Dieci Lifestyle Spa, Panico, American Shave, Gallery A, XChanges among others were featured on the BE! Magazine stage. Each salon stopped by the media booth for an exclusive interview with The Salon Guy, Will Love, and Chance from Chance TV where they discussed building their brand and there vision and inspiration comes from. Some of the special guests on Sunday were Jacqueline Laurita from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Andrea Rosaria singer of “We Own The Night”, up and coming artists Candi Lynn and Sariah, Tracy DiMarco from Jerseylicious, Jen Jacobs from NBC’s Biggest Loser, and Tiffany Rios, former American Idol runner up, who surprised guests with a special performance on the BE! Stage. On Monday, October 17th, top salons were presenting their looks from 9-5pm. After each presentation, salon owners and their team were photographed in our media booth and interviewed by BE! Magazine. Special guest Cindy Vero from 103.5 KTU was in attendance, and got her hair done by Michael O’ Roukes style team. She then was introduced to guests on the BE! Stage. Lorenzo Gangola from Jerseylicious was also in attendance, introduced on the BE Stage and posed for pictures with fans. NJ Today Radio station aired live from 1-3PM from the Emiliani show interviewing select guest such as Andre Chiavelli Executive Vice President of Sales and Corporate Strategy for Emiliani, Lorenzo Gangala from Jerseylicious, Maria Cucciniello owner of The Hip Event, select students who attended the show on a school field trip and owners of Salon’s who presented presentations on stage. What I really didenjoy was the "shop" that was set up in the middle of the expo. It had an aray of products varying in prices from $1 to $20. I went ahead and purchased a few nail polishes for only $1 each. There was one more OPI Nail Laquer in "Sevrving Up Sparkle" a silverish glitter polish that my daughter ran off with and did not get to make it in the picture... lol sorry. Hope you all enjoy the post
Hey guys! I know I do not normally do nail art/ manicure posts but after having posted these pictures up on Instagram and it being such a hit I decided to share with all of you. Considering not you all of you may be following me. The inspiration for this mani came from a picture my Sis sent me of a similar mani, except that one did not have glitter. She knows how much I like French Manicure type nail art since I have done similar looks in the past. I decided to do this particular mani for my birthday and it was very easy to accomplish. I started with the pinkish French base coat, then I free handed the black. I added a glitter polish to each ring finger and finished with a clear high shine top coat. Hi everyone I hope you all have been having a lovely week. Perhaps you may or may not know but I am the style correspondent over at Princess Dominique and what I do there is create a post once a week to share with her readers what I do best style on a budget. While browsing online for some items for this weekâs post I came across a pair of leopard skinny jeans from Charlotte Russe and wanted to see what you thought about them. I personally think they are pretty daring and trendy, although they can easily look cheap or cheesy with the right styling you may just be able to pull them off. *Click image to go to retailer* |
