With summer's official end quickly approaching this will be my last summer look. If you follow me on any of my social media channels then you are well aware of my love of the beach and pool, naturally I am not saying goodbye without a fight.
I am not depressed. I can still smile at pretty things and laugh when jokes are funny, I can still talk to people and enjoy nice days.
But when I go inside, when I'm all alone, there is something broken. And I fall into a sadness so sweet that it engulfs me. I look in the mirror but I don't like what I see. And the tears always fall when I'm falling asleep, because I miss something that doesn't exist. But I am not depressed, I've just been sad for a while. Although I can still find the light, I can still smile. -Amelie Pascual. Have you ever seen a trend you wanted to try but were afraid that you just may not be able to pull it off? Me too! That's how I felt about the platinum/grey hair, crop tops and high waist jeans. All super fun and cute trends, but trends that may not be for my body type. However, I gave them a go, all at once, and honestly I loved the results! Before we jump into these amazing boyfriend shorts (I feel I have been wearing all summer) let's talk about the elephant in the room - my wig. I will be sharing more details about it on a YouTube review, I love it, it is just a little too wiggy. Enough about the hair, let's talk about these BF shorts. On Friday I went on Telemundo, Noticiero Primera Edicion to share Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Options, this is what I wore.
Ok so I'm a few weeks behind on posting my Easter Sunday outfit but finally here are the details of what I wore on resurrection Sunday. I have had a Pinterest outfit I had been wanting to recreate for the longest but had been unable to find the right skirt once I did Easter was the perfect time to wear it.
I guess I am what is called a contemporary or modern Christian. I attend a non-denominational church with a pentecostal doctrine that preaches the traditional gospel. It is quite liberal, nothing like the old school Pentecostal church I grew up in; where I was not allowed to wear makeup, pants and jewelry even cutting your hair wasn't allowed.

Remember that Spring Luncheon I posted about not too long ago? Well this is what I wore. I had been wanting to try the popular 90's trend of wearing a shirt tied around your waist and the Spring Fling Party was the perfect event to give it a try. I think I pulled it off and here are the 3 ways I made this trend work.
