Like always Spring Break is a week away, here in Essex County, NJ and I have yet to plan anything to keep my children busy. lt could be part procrastination, part improper budgeting so I am relying on my go-to, affordable kid friendly activity planner - Groupon (and/or Livingsocial).
I simply search for nearby activities within a 10 mile radius for less than $15 per person. In most occasions I participate and need to purchase Groupon's for myself as well but this time around since I have the baby I will sit on the sidelines and watch, which will save additional costs. Here are the Groupon's I purchased for my kids...

As many of you may already know I recently had a baby girl, unfortunately just as with my other two she also suffers from colic. If you are unfamiliar with colic, as per WebMD - The term applies to any healthy, well-fed infant who cries more than 3 hours a day, more than 3 days a week, for more than 3 weeks. It is severe, often fluctuating pain in the abdomen caused by intestinal gas or obstruction in the intestines. Because of my other two children, I was already familiar and had some items in my colic arsenal but recently discovered a few more to help remedy this work of the devil.

Some women are blessed in the collagen and elasticity department when it comes to dealing with stretch marks. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I have the typical stretch marks that occur with growth spurts, puberty and weight gain/loss. But then there are a special kind of stretch marks, pregnancy stretch marks.
This is my third pregnancy and apart from the stretch marks that occured while carrying my first born, I do not think I have added any new ones. Here is how I avoided adding additional stretch marks with this last pregnancy. Disclosure: This post is in collaboration with PinkBlushMaternity.com, however all opinions expressed are my own. My Nali bear recently turned 8 years old, to celebrate I really wanted to take her to Kalahari Resorts, PA. It is about 2 hours away from our home, I was slightly dreading the drive since I was mid way through my 35th week of pregnancy and long drives in general make me antsy. However by just doing these 3 things I survived our short road trip!

In most Hispanic and Latin homes the Three Kings holiday is celebrated. The epiphany, commonly known as Three Kings' Day in the United States, is on January 6. It celebrates the three wise men's visit to baby Jesus and also remembers his baptism. I grew up with knowledge and understanding of the Holiday but we never really practiced the act of leaving the hay, water and mints under the bed. It is a tradition I would like to start with my children along with the Rosca cake. This year because of my pregnancy I honestly was way too tired to participate but since I had this awesome REMOTE CONTROL RC ROBOT W/ WALKING TALKING DANCING SHOOTING DISC ACTIONS I told my son it was a gift from the three kings.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary Blue Spruce Christmas Tree, Coastal Elegance ornaments and BH Essentials ornaments in collaboration with Balsam Hill. However, all opinions expressed are my own.
For those of you that know me or have been around a while, you know that I try to save and be as frugal and as savvy as possible. I had my last Christmas tree for nearly 8 years! Carefully putting it away each year to preserve it for the next. This, year however I knew it was time to let it go, especially after having been notified that its replacement would be a Balsam Hill!
You know the kind, you see them every year on the Hallmark Channel not only on commercials between the romantic Christmas flicks but in the actual movies as well. They are big, beautiful and so realistic looking. Definitely a tree after my own heart.

To say that this pregnancy has been difficult would be an understatement. I think my morning sickness began the minute I saw the positive sign on the test. Since that very moment I have had every discomfort that comes along with pregnancy that you could think of. Vomiting tops it but the next worst symptom I've experienced, has to be the combination of pressure, bloating and gas in my stomach.
Thankfully to my relief, I've found that probiotics ease the extreme pressure in my gut, that is why when I had the chance to team up with Culturelle I jumped at it. Taking Culturelle® Digestive Health probiotic products can help restore the natural balance of good bacteria in the intestines to help your digestive system work better and keep you feeling your best.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary cut and style by celebrity hairstyles and Hair Rules salon founder Anthony Dickey. However all opinions expressed are my own.
After finally finding my misplaced memory card I am able to share all the details about the cut and wash and go style I had done over at Anthony Dickey's Hair Rules Salon. In various Facebook natural hair groups I had heard about the "Dickey Method" for wash n' gos. I took to YouTube to research and bit more and found so many videos of his method, that I thought I'd reach out to the salon to be styled by the salon owner himself.
YOUR BABY IS THE SIZE OF A LEMON - i'M 14 WEEKS PREGNANT + 4 LEMON PROPS TO USE IN YOUR ANNOUNCEMENT8/28/2017
In true Hispanic fashion or maybe even superstitious tradition, I waited until the end of my first trimester to share with the world that, my baby is the size of a lemon - I am 14 weeks pregnant. There are a few reasons for this, the main one is you don't want to go around sharing when you barely have a blastocyst hanging on to your uterus. The next one is...
