Disclosure: This post is in collaboration with PinkBlushMaternity.com, however all opinions expressed are my own. My Nali bear recently turned 8 years old, to celebrate I really wanted to take her to Kalahari Resorts, PA. It is about 2 hours away from our home, I was slightly dreading the drive since I was mid way through my 35th week of pregnancy and long drives in general make me antsy. However by just doing these 3 things I survived our short road trip!
A few weeks ago we headed to Florida to spend Thanksgiving weekend with my older brother and his family. Drive STI loaned us the sleek 184 HORSEPOWER-35 EPA-EST HWY MPG-2.5L SKYACTIV-G 4-CYL Mazda CX-5. To say we loved this crossover would be an understatement.
This past June my husband and I visited Montego Bay, Jamaica for two nights. It may not seem like many days but it was a perfect little getaway for us. The best part was that the whole reason for our trip was to surprise my brother, Nestor of ThaBoxingVoice. He decided he'd be celebrating his birthday at the Holiday Inn Sunspree all-inclusive resort.
Earlier this month my family and I drove down to Florida to visit my older brother. This was only my second time visiting my brother in Florida, the first time was over six years ago! We had a really nice time, so I thought that I would share what we did while in the Apollo Beach, FL area.
For those that read my blog regularly, I wanted to apologize for the lack of post these past few weeks. Between this last class and prepping for our first out of country family vacation there was very little time for blogging. Speaking of vacations though I wanted to share a review for the resort we stayed at, Vista Sol in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This past weekend I had the awesome opportunity to attend Family Movie Night with US Weekly & Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn at Boston's Prudential Center Courtyard & Garden. I had never been to Boston and was pretty excited for the road trip. My husband was unable to attend due to work but my Mom is the ultimate co-pilot and was more than happy to accompany me and the kids.
I had almost a year desiring a road trip to Philadelphia with my family, finally this summer we made it happen. Thanks to Mitsubishi we drove there in style in their comfortable and economical SUV. The goal was to spend as little as possible while still exploring what the city has to offer, essentially a budget road trip to Philly. Here is what we did .
Disclosure: I was provided with complimentary tickets to the Marvels event which included an unlimited rides pass for each of us, however all opinions expressed are my own. First I want to apologize that all my pictures are of low quality, with the excitement of heading out to iPlay America after church last sunday I forgot my camera and was left to use my phone to cover all the fun at this indoor amusement park in Freehold, NJ but don't worry I vlogged our experience!
Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets to this show, however all thoughts and opinions are my own. On Sunday my family and I attended The Berenstain Bears Live show in NYC. I was pretty excited to take the kids out into the city and watch the show. The plan was to take the train in to make it more of an activity but of course, Familia Fashion is always late. We got there right on time and were able to experience it all.
For our first summer activity I decided to take the kids to Ikea in Elizabeth, NJ since I already needed to pick up a few items for my Office Closet (#ChicaFashionCave). My daughter did not think this would be a fun activity but was surprised by how much there actually is to see and do.
