1) Name/ Age/ Current place of residence/ Website if any?
My name is Zane, it's kind of short version of Susan, just cut the "Su" and just have the "san" :) I am 24 years old and I live in Latvia, that's a small country on the eastern part of Europe. My blog is http://zanechictopia.blogspot.com/ 2) How would you describe your personal style? My style depends on my mood and changes all the time depending on the weather and occasion. I am mostly feminine and romantic with little retro influences. But I adore the rocker and bohemian style as well. 3) Trends you are loving? Right now I love the nautical trend, it's prefect for summer. My way of wearing it depends on my mood again - one day it could be slightly nautical inspired but the other it may look like a nautical costume. I love the military trend as well, I am big fan of Balmain, I think the military trend as well as the nautical will never be out of style. 4) Trends you dislike? I would say - neon colors. I love how they look on other but I could never pull of anything like that. 5) How do you shop? On a budget? Online? High end stores? Thrifting? I love thrifting, it's like adventure for me. I believe I haven't bought anything brand new for the last six months. And I think thrifting is a great way to recycle and I can get a lot of pieces for amazingly low price. 6) Rules you always follow when putting together an outfit? I start to build my outfit around one piece. It's usually something new I've got. I try to mix it with something in matching color or style or just go for a contrast. If the clothes are unique enough, I don't accessorize - the less is more. If the pieces are simple or look boring, I go for accessories - I am huge fan of statement earrings and whimsical necklaces. I always try to look more or less matchy, I just can't pile of random pieces of clothing and feel good like that. 7) Music you're currently listening to? I absolutely love music and listen to everything from pop to hip hop and from electronic music to heavy metal. But at the moment I'm really into indie music. 8) Favorite Brands/ Stores? I don't have any favorite brands, because my clothes are mostly from thrift stores. All I can say is that I love cheap clothes :) 9) What factors do you consider when getting dressed? Mood/ the occasion/ weather? I consider all the factors. My mood is really important, because I can express it with the clothes I am wearing, whether I feel blah and have just jeans and t-shirt on or whether I feel fancy like a topper of cake and dress like that as well. The weather is important as well. I can't freeze in the name of fashion, I try to dress properly - warm enough in the winter or cool enough in the summer. I absolutely love to dress for the occasion, whether it's club night or casual party or visiting the grandmother. 10) Is there some other detail you'd like to share with the readers about your style? Something you like to let them know? I think the most important thing is always to be you and be true to yourself. That means dressing depending on the mood. One can dress like coming straight from the runway but the lack of confidence or un-comfortableness will shine through. And I don't think it's a bad thing to don't have one particular style. It's always good to try something new and follow your heart, because we change every day and the world changes as well, so it's natural that the style changes too.
