I cannot believe my first born baby turned 10 this year! We have these big plans of paying off debt and saving for a house but that did not stop me from wanting to celebrate Naliya in a big way. She is really into Japanese cuisine and culture. What better way to celebrate than with a surprise Japanese dinner party.

Per his request I threw him a Disney Cars birthday. He actually wanted a Cars birthday for his 3rd birthday but I had already started planning for his Pipi Longstocking Pirate Party, so as promised, we went full steam ahead this year with the Cars party thanks in part to Oriental Trading.

Florals and greenery are the stars of this Easter tablescape, thanks to Oriental Trading. I simply added elements of flowers and foliage along side pretty pastels. A few moss bunnies and eggs bring this whimsical garden theme together. Here's everything you will need to recreate the look this Easter.

A little late but still blog worthy! My dad turned 60 in 2015, I took all of his favorite things and turned them into his 60th birthday party theme. I went with a black and gold color scheme to tie it all together. Here is what I came up for pop's celebration....
Disclosure: Shari's Berries sent me two items from their New Year Gifts Collection to review. However all opinions expressed are my own. Nothing says New Year's Eve celebrations like champagne, and what goes better with champagne than strawberries! Tablescapes are my favorite posts to do. For Thanksgiving I thought I would put together a budget friendly tablescape for two.
With school coming into a full swing, family schedules are about to be quite hectic. Amidst shuffling the kids between extracurriculars and trying to squeeze in a gym session some nights who has time to cook? Insert Domino’s Pizza!
Did you know they are uniting pizza and salad lovers to the same table? Recently, the national pizza chain launched its salads nationwide. The perfect combo for both parents and kids, right? Also the perfect menu items for a back to school party to help the children get mentally prepared for the new school year. Disclosure: I was sent a Petite Birthday Cake & Full Dozen Birthday Strawberries to encourage me to post about my Blogiversary from Shari's Berries. However, all opinions expressed are my own. When I started my blog six years ago I had no idea what was branding, seo or that blogging was lucrative. I started my blog back in August of 2010 and pushed my first post live on 8/11/2010. Here are six lessons I've learned so far as a blogger....

I introduced the film to the children and Aarlen was hooked, asking to watch Pippi 2-3 times a day. I am not going to lie, as his 3rd birthday approached I encouraged a "Pippi Party" since he had been loving it for the past few months. It took a little convincing be he agreed to a Pippi 3rd birthday party!
