On Tuesday February 25th I was able to attend the launch of P&G’s new “Sweet Dreams” Collection in collaboration with Downy, Bounce & Tide in none other than the city that never sleeps' Grand Central Station. It was hosted by TV personality & bestselling author Dr. Ian Smith, the National Sleep Foundation and Jeannett Kaplun, Latina lifestyle blogger.
In today's 24/7 world people are on the go right up until it is time for bed, I can truly attest to this. According to the National Sleep Foundation many Americans have trouble sleeping and area tossing and turning all night long not realizing that great sleeps starts in your laundry room. Often people turn to drastic measures to help with their sleep issues but the "Tuck in. Turn Off Pledge" is the perfect opportunity to change your sleep routine for the better. 57 percent of doctors reported one of their patients’ biggest hindrances to falling asleep is engaging in electronics such as phones, computers, iPads and television too close to bedtime.4 The “Tuck In. Turn Off.” The pledge aims to combat this by encouraging people to turn off their technology at least 30
minutes before bedtime and tuck in to clean fabrics infused with the soothing scent and softness of the Sweet Dreams Collection. The pledge can be taken online by visiting www.TuckInTurnOff.com. In addition to the pledge I suggest a five minute prayer, asking The Lord for peace, rest and sweet dreams!
