Blogger + Friends Galentine's Meetup Recap

Empowered women, empower women. What better way to network, get to know other female bloggers and celebrate Valentine's than by having a Galentine's meetup? Last week I did just that, I hosted Galentine's at Rock'n'Joe in Union, NJ with blogger pal Lillie of Jersey Fashionista.

I was asked a few times why I hosted this meet up, I had no reason other than I wanted to met up with other bloggers. Events are a big deal in blogger world and sometimes for various reason many do not get to attend so I made one where any blogger or reader could

Every person, for $10 was able to order a salad, half sandwich and coffee or tea from the Rock'n'Joe menu. In addition thanks to my awesome sponsor, there was Barefoot Wine and Bubbly! We all know how much I enjoy event planning so I went ahead and handled all of the decor, I wanted it to be girly and feminine.

Everyone went home with a sweet little "swag bag" which included thanks to our sponsors - Brushlove, Sinful Colors and Hard Candy, a makeup brush, nail polish and lipstick. There were also an array of beauty samples. 

We had two giveaways, one for a handbag from Glitter Buzz Boutique and one for Ralph Lauren Romance.
