But honestly, do we visit blogs for the beauty of the photos or the actual outfit? Serious question I want to know. Like I know I don't want to see blurry pixelated photos but do we always need professional high aperture photos with bokeh and natural backgrounds? For the most part my husband takes my photos and has no interest in learning photography so he does what he can or my sister takes them whenever we happen to be together. Personally I prefer her over my husband because she notices if even a strand of hair is out of place. Real friends tell you to suck it in before a pic, hashtag! I have tried to improve my photos over my three years of blogging best I can, using better backgrounds (trying to shoot outdoors more) upgrading from iphone pictures to a Nikon 1 j1 (not the best camera for blurring backgrounds at least for me and my little photog skills), and upgrading my lighting I have photo lamps and recently for when I don't fell like setting up lamps I changed the light bulbs in my livingroom to daylight bulbs. But I can't help but to feel that I would get a better following or more views/likes/pins if I had typical blogger photos out in the middle of the street with a blurred background no coat on in the snow, am I the only one who feels this way? Any way let me know your thoughts and I hope you like this outfit, my boots are new thanks to forgetting to cancel my Shoedazzle vip account three months ago. They are ok, photograph well but are a bit cheap in quality, cute nonetheless. By the way how do you like this dark brown lip? I was itching to try this color for the longest. |
