Covergirl MTV Pre-VMA Party Recap

On Thursday, August 22nd in Brooklyn, NY Covergirl Becky G hosted MTV's Pre-VMA Party at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. There were performances by Covergirl's DJ Nervo and R&B sensation, Ciara. I went with my friend and fellow blogger, Vanessa of Smart Little Cookie.

I enjoyed all the many details that went into the event. The lighting and set up created a fun lounge ambiance. They had an open bar with one of a kind signature drinks. I had the Brooklyn Style because the bartender said it was the fruitiest but it was pretty strong for me. I had about half, then ordered a Malibu Bay Breeze cocktail. Now that was awesome! I took a soda and water to go.

There was special seating decked out with pink and sequin pillows. Every where you turned they had complimentary Covergirl beauty products. At first I thought they were just part of the decor but then realized they were to take.

I haven't been to a club environment in a long time but DJ Nervo really had the crowd amped up and ready to party.

There was lots too see and do. The event was divided up in to three levels each as entertaining as the next. The main floor is were the performances happened. Ciara as always never disappoints equally beautiful & entertaining. On the lower level were makeup and mani makeovers!
