This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and NEUTROGENA®. However all opinions stated are my own.

You know there really is nothing like a good hair day! I mean it makes you feel beautiful, confidant and ready to take on your day. And we all know that an outfit isn't complete if your hair is not done, well and the shoes too, an outfit needs great shoes and hair to tie it all together.
This #NeutrogenaHair campaign came just in time for my six month blow out. As a naturalista I choose to only blow out (straighten) my hair every 6+ months or so to prevent any heat damage.

Heat damage is when the process of blow drying and or using the flat iron taking the curl pattern away from your hair, permanently making the hair straight, limp, weak and brittle. I myself have experience occasional heat damage on my ends, luckily its very little and I am able to just snip those dead ends away. I have also experienced dye damage resulting in that dreadful Big Chop, now I try to be very careful with these lovely locks of mine.

That is why I was thrilled when I was accepted for the Neutrogena Hair Triple Moisture campaign. I have yet to find those go to products, you know the ones you trust and love but I think I may have found them. Moisture is the key piece to maintaing a curly fro, making these products ideal for my hair. I love the scent, consistency and the fact that it includes a deep recovery hair mask. I use a deep conditioning treatment 2-4x a month as part of my healthy hair/growth journey and my hair really seemed to love this one, all of the products for that matter.
NEUTROGENA® Triple Moisture° Hair Collection has the solution to defy dryness and actively nourish hair! This four- piece collection is formulated with ingredients that work together to leave hair looking vibrant and healthy:

• Olive Oil penetrates to the core of the hair shaft and seal in moisture.

• Meadow Seed Oil helps moisturize the middle of the hair strand to soften hair.

• Sweet Almond Oil works as a protective layer to help hydrate hair from root to tip.

Curly to Straight Step by Step:

This is the process I used to go from curly to straight with no heat damage. I hope you enjoy my first pictorial!

Step 1: Deep Condition

I applied NEUTROGENA® TRIPLE MOISTURE® Deep Recovery Hair Mask which provides the same hair softness and better manageability than the leading competitive product at 1/10th the cost. I then let the product work into my using my Hair Therapy Wrap: Cordless Thermal Heat Turban

Step 2: Shampoo

I washed with NEUTROGENA® TRIPLE MOISTURE® Cream Lather Shampoo formulated with naturally derived ingredients proven to deeply moisturize all three layers of the hair strand and improve severely dry hair.

Step 3: Condition

I used NEUTROGENA® TRIPLE MOISTURE® Daily Deep Conditioner to untangle. It has an intense moisturizing formula that is light enough for daily use and improves manageability while adding shine.

Step 4: Blow Dry

After applying NEUTROGENA® TRIPLE MOISTURE® Silk Touch Leave-In Cream I blow dried my hair in sections. It has a light texture that won’t weigh hair down. The cream contains UV filters that protect
the hair from environmental damage.

Step 5: Flat Iron

Using a heat protectant and a flat iron on a temperature under 450 degrees (to prevent heat damage) I straightened my hair working in sections until I was done.
