DevaCurl Cut at Bangz Salon & Spa

Last month I had the opportunity to go to Bangz Salon & Spa in Montclair New Jersey for a complimentary DevaCurl Cut experience done by a trained and certified DevaCurl Cut stylist.

Bangz is so luxurious love that place, this is my second visit I had gone before for a "Me Day" at Bangz Salon + Wellness Spa. They offer many services, the staff is courteous and the local is beautiful and modern.

The Deva Cutting technique is a Devachan Salon revolutionary method for cutting curly hair. The hair is cut dry, simply because we wear our hair dry not wet. They cut the hair in its natural form, curl by curl. Since curly hair and it's spring factor can be misinterpreted while wet. This unique innovation allows the stylist to sculpt each client's hair, according to their individual curl, look, and style. A self curl care lesson is also given along with the cut to take you beyond the salon.

Below is a video detailing my experience I tried to make it as short as I could without leaving out any of the important curl care lessons, cut and styling. Overall I feel my hair is a bit shorter than I expected, it also feels like my ends are thinner than then the rest of my hair similar to a razor cut. But I now have a nice shape and is healthy. I really enjoyed my experience, my stylist Lilly was beyond great.
