Every year Naliya and I get a little gift for her classmates for Christmas. Like me she enjoys gifting and making others feel special. I really love making her feel proud, she likes "showing off" the crafts we put together and the things we pick out. In this instance it was holiday lip balm sticks or chap sticks gif I found these super cute lip balms at Jo-Anne Fabric and Craft store, they came in a pack of 6 - each one with a different scent for 9.99 with 60% off. My friend Lee has a paper goods Etsy, The LVR Shop, she gifted me a few labels but they turned out too big for the chapsticks. I headed over to Pinterest for some inspo. To create the gift labels I used cardstock in two colors, metallic gold ink and a rubber stamp set. All of these supplies I had already in my scrapbook stash. The brown stock paper was already cut to size so I used it as a template to cut the green. I didn't have any double stick tape otherwise I would have used that, I simply used regular transparent tape and folded it over. I placed the chapstick gifts on a tray and dressed it with a bow just to give it a cute presentation. They were a hit and a really easy inexpensive class gift at only .66 cents each. The teachers called Naliya and I fancy, lol! You can do this same chapstick gift for any season or holiday. As long as I find them on sale, I would do it again. |
