Floral + Neon High Low Challis Dress

This is the outfit I wore to the NJ Latina Bloggers Summer Meet Up this past Saturday, it was a last minute purchase from Target. I was drawn to the contrasting colors and the neon detail. I have been feeling much more comfortable in dresses lately. Although I think that the bodice of this dress made my chest seem larger since it only the illusion of boning. I paired it with one of my favorite wedges for an additional pop of color.

So about my hair.... lol I attempted to do a flat twist out on blown out hair or a dry twist out. When I untwisted it and took out my rod rollers it looked beautiful, like summer beach waves. For good measure I even used hair spary but it was no use. Not even an hour into the event the humidity took over and created this frizzy fro. No waves no curls no shape but now I now what to do different for next time.

Este es el atuendo que llevaba este sábado pasado para el NJ Latina Bloggers Summer Meet Up, fue una compra de última hora en la tienda Target. Me sentí atraída a los colores de contraste y el detalle de neón. Me he sentido mucho más cómodo en vestidos últimamente. Aunque creo que el cuerpo de este vestido hizo que mi pecho parezca más grande, ya que sólo es la ilusión de que es deshuesado. Lo empareje con una de mis zapatillas corridas favoritas para darle otro detalle adicional de color.

Acerca de mi cabello.... lol intenté de hacer un twist out en el cabello secado a blower, tambien se le dice un twist out seco. Cuando me saque las trenzas y mis rolitos se veía hermoso, asi como con ondas de playa. Incluso usé spary para que se quedara, pero no sirvió de nada. Ni siquiera una hora en el evento y ya la humedad se hizo cargo y creó este afro. No tenia olas, rizos o ninguna forma, pero ahora ya por lo menos se que se debe hacer diferente la próxima vez.
