Emiliani sales consultant, Andrea Agin in collaboration with the Monmouth County Vocational School is hosting a Give Back to the Community event, Haircuts for Exit 117, for residents of the towns devastated by Hurricane Sandy on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 3pm to 7pm.
The event will take place in the salon facility located at the Monmouth County Vocational School located at 280 Atlantic Street in Keyport, New Jersey. Residents of The Highlands, Keyport, Union Beach, and Keansburg will be able to come and receive a free haircut with proof of residency. It is first come, first serve and the salon hopes to accommodate around 240 people. The haircuts will be provided by NJ licensed stylists from various salons throughout the state and the cosmetology students from the Keyport campus will be doing the washes and blowouts. Top beauty distributor Emiliani Enterprises has donated all of the shampoos and styling products to support this event. Coffee and Tea is being donated from Blue Water Seafood in Red Bank. This event will give those that have lost so much from Hurricane Sandy a little pick me up during the holiday season and also the cosmetology student’s exposure to helping those within the community. |
