Kat DeLuna COVERGIRL Glam Look Tutorial

Latina Magazine celebrated their 15th Anniversary al estilo quinceañera at the Globe Theatre in Universal Studios – Hollywood. The event was all sponsored by COVERGIRL with full commitment to making sure everyone looked their best as they hosted LA’s top beauty and lifestyle bloggers 

Among other VIPs and celebrities such as former COVERGIRL Ana de la Reguera, actress Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy), Stefano Langone (American Idol), Aimee Garcia (Dexter), Evelyn Lozada (VH1 Basketball Wives), Tiffany Hines (Bones), personality Karli Henriquez, model Rosa Acosta, singer Sabi, JR Martinez (DWTS), Francia Raisa (Secret Life of a Teenager), Tatiana Ali (Fresh Prince of Bel Air), DJ Rashida, and of course the entertainer of the evening Kat DeLuna!

COVERGIRL teamed up with Kat DeLuna to provide her various glam looks throughout the day including filming a video for Latina.com, sound rehearsals, her performance on stage (in which she did a Selena & Gloria Estefan tribute, wepa!), and most importantly her red carpet Look of The Night! 

Her makeup artist was Lara Vargas Goldstein and her hair was by Candy Farmer. 

Makeup artist Lara Vargas tells us that when she met Kat DeLuna, she was inspired by a modern and hot Latina woman, full of sazón!

On the red carpet, Kat was wearing a grey dress by Improv and shoes by Giuseppe Zanotii.
FACE:

·         We started with COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Concealer in #215  in a medium-light tone, followed by Simply Ageless Foundation  COVERGIRL # 255 on "Buff Beige" to prepare a perfect base that matches her skin tone.

·         On her cheeks, I used the Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush# 230 "Lush Berry" which I loved because it is creamy and gives you a very natural color.

·         Because I knew that Kat likes the “tan” look, I also used some of COVERGIRL Cheekers Bronzer in "Golden Tan".

·         For the red carpet I made sure to seal her makeup with COVERGIRL, Clean Pressed Powder - Oil Control  in "Soft Honey" and before hitting the stage I gave her a touch up with COVERGIRL Professional Loose Powder # 115 in "Translucent Medium.”
EYES:                                         

·         The dress Kat was wearing was dark gray so I decided to create a sensual and intense makeup to highlight her eyes.

·         I used a combination of COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast  # 800 in " Onyx Smoke " and  # 825 "Tempest Blue" and then, I mixed it with shades of COVERGIRL  4-Kit Eye Enhancers # 222 in "Drama Eyes" to give even more intensity to her eyes.
LIPS:

·         Since her eyes were the central focus, I decided to give her lips a very natural coral look so I used COVERGIRL LipPerfection # 255 in "Delish". 

·         Finally, I gave it a nice bright feeling using COVERGIRL ShineBlast LipGloss in # 810 "AGlow".

La maquillista Lara Vargas nos cuenta que cuando conoció a Kat se inspiró en una mujer moderna, con esa sazón Latina y muy sensual. Anoche, en la alfombra roja Kat lució un vestido gris de Improv y zapatos de Giuseppe Zanotii.

Rostro:

·         Comenzamos con el concealer de COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Concealer en #215 en tono mediano claro, seguido por el COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Foundation  #255 en un tono beige  “Buff Beige” para preparar la base del maquillaje exacta al tono de su piel.

·         En las mejillas usé el Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush #230 “Lush Berry” el cual me encantó porque es cremoso y te dá un color muy natural.

·         Como sé que a Kat le gusta verse bronceada, también le apliqué un poco del COVERGIRL Cheekers Bronzer en “Golden Tan”.

·         Para la alfombra roja me aseguré de sellar el maquillaje con el polvo suelto de COVERGIRL, Clean Pressed Powder - Oil Control   #555 en “Soft Honey”y antes de salir al escenario le retoqué el maquillaje con el Professional Loose Powder #115 en “Translucent Medium”.

Ojos:

·         El vestido que lució Kat era gris oscuro así que decidí crear un maquillaje de ojos sensuales e intensos.

·         Usé una combinación de COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast en #800 en el tono “Onyx Smoke” y #825 “Tempest Blue” para darle un toque azulado mezclando un poco con las sombras de COVERGIRL 4-Kit Eye Enhancers  #222 en “Drama Eyes”.

Labios:

·         Como le di énfasis a los ojos, decidí hacer los labios en un tono coral muy natural con el labial de COVERGIRL LipPerfection #255 en “Delish”.

·         Para finalizar le di un lindo brillo usando el COVERGIRL ShineBlast LipGloss en #810 “AGlow”.
