On October 20, 2011, L’oquencE Hair Salon revealed their luxurious new salon with a grand opening party, which was a full on red carpet affair. Guests got to see the new location and meet the owners Erica Jackson and LaToyia Woodson who have been in the salon industry for fifteen years.
The night started with a ribbon cutting ceremony involving Mayor Vic DeLuca, Vice Mayor Kathy Leventhal, Township Committee member Jerry Ryan, co-owners Erica Jackson and LaToyia Woodson-Payne, Erica’s daughter Bria and LaToyia’s husband Raheem Payne.
Party goers enjoyed hors d’oeuvres from Peter’s of Millburn, drinks from Veev and Bulldog London Gin as well as music from DJ Paypus, who has entertained crowds up and down the east coast. There was an array of baked goods from Sonya Newton, owner of “Love My Cake”. Kathy Genchi, one of the area’s most famed Bobbi Brown make up artists was on site doing touch ups throughout the night. The salon was packed with friends, family and customers sipping on champagne toasting the night away.
The owners of L’oquencE Hair Salon were excited to share with guests what their salon offered. L’oquencE Luxurious Hair Salon specializes in promoting healthy hair and trendy styles. They also specialize in weaving techniques and color services.
