My 27th Birthday Photo Shoot with LadyBug PinUp

This post is a bit overdue but better late than never right?

I listen to this fashion/beauty radio show from the Dominican Republic called Radio Moda. Every day they go over different topics as well as invite various guest.

A few months back the invited Alina Vargas of LadyBug Pinup, a Dominican Ukraine professional fashion/pinup photographer, I was totally taken aback by her work and movement. She has the first photo studio in the Dominican Republic that specializes in Pinup photography 

For my 27th birthday in October I had the opportunity to visit the Dominican Republic and set up my first ever photo session. 

I was beyond excited for the shoot let alone a pinup inspired theme. Alina is beyond sweet and extremely pleasant. She had both my hair and makeup done by her team which included Indira, whom were also kind & professional.

Esta entrada esta un poco atrasada, pero más vale tarde que nunca ¿verdad?

Escucho a este programa de radio sobre moda / belleza en la República Dominicana llamada Radio Moda. Todos los días tocan diferentes temas y también tienen  a varios invitados.

Hace unos meses atrás tuvieron una invitada llamada Alina Vargas de LadyBug Pinup. Una fotógrafa Dominicana y Ucrania profesional  especializando en fotografías tipo Pinup. Me tomo por sorpresa totalmente su trabajo y el movimiento que lleva en la Republica Dominicana ya que es el primer estudio de fotos Pinup en el país.

Para mi cumple de 27 años en Octubre tuve la oportunidad de visitar mi país, la República Dominicana y crear mi primera sesión de fotos.

Yo estaba emocionado no solamente por la sesión, si no también por el tema inspirado en pin-up. Alina es más que un amor, súper dulce y extremadamente simpática. Ella se encargó que su equipo el cual incluyo a Indira, me peinaran  y maquillaran, ellas también fueron muy amables y profesionales.

Ladybug Pin Up en la revista Estilos y ahi estoy yo lol

Here are the four photos I chose among many shot that day. I hadn't realized that photo shoots are so much work! Between all the posing and lighting, I worked up a sweat. Well not really but I was pretty clammy. Getting the perfect shot is not as easy as it looks but I enjoyed every moment of my first shoot!

Estas son las cuatro fotos que elegí entre muchos que fueron tomadas ese día. No me había dado cuenta que sesiones de fotos son tanto trabajo! Entre todas las poses y la luz casi me pongo a sudar. Conseguir la foto perfecta no es tan fácil como parece, pero disfrute cada momento de mi primera sesión de fotos.
