MY BEST WASH + gO EVER: CUT + STYLE WITH HAIR RULES' ANTHONY DICKEY

After finally finding my misplaced memory card I am able to share all the details about the cut and wash and go style I had done over at Anthony Dickey's Hair Rules Salon. In various Facebook natural hair groups I had heard about the "Dickey Method" for wash n' gos. I took to YouTube to research and bit more and found so many videos of his method, that I thought I'd reach out to the salon to be styled by the salon owner himself.

2 day hair

I headed over to the salon - located in Manhattan with a two day old wash and go. After an introduction and consultation Anthony went to work. I love how it was not only a cut and style but also a whole educational experience. Anthony is super informative and knowledgeable about all things curly hair.

He was able to walk me through all the steps and process to achieve the same style at home. Unfortunately as much as I have tried, I have been unsuccessful in recreating the same look.

I was able to take a few products home, my absolute favorite are the Cleansing Cream and the Quench Conditioner from the Kiny Texture line.. It leaves my hair super soft, more manageable and super easy to detangle. It is amazing the texture I was able to reveal with these products.

Best Wash and Go Ever!

My style lasted my almost 4 days and my cut is still holding up, although I could use a trim really soon. I would say even though it is pretty expensive for a frugal girl like me,  the price is worth it at least once a year.
