New Year's Eve: Tuxedo Blazer + Faux Leather Skater Skirt

2014 was great to me, I mean at the end of the day life is what you make of it. Everyday I woke up and decided I would do as much as I could with the help of God. All year I waited expectantly for his blessings and grace, The Lord was faithful and never failed me.

Two quotes that carried me through the year and will help me in this new year and years to come;

I can't promise everyday will be great but I will be thankful for it and always look at the bright side of things. I can make a list of successes and failures but honestly I am immensely happy with everything, good and bad. I am so thankful to The Lord for what he is doing in my life and can only imagine how this new year will be if I keep my eyes focused on Him.

This outfit cost me very little which is always the goal right? All pieces I already owned, great use of my closet basics. I picked up this blazer from the Goodwill in Paramus, NJ for 1/2 price, it came out to $4! My top is a Plato's Closet find for $10. This skirt was between $4 & $7, I can't remember but I got it at JCPenney on clearance. My shoes were also a clearance find from Target for sure less than $20.
