NJ Latina Bloggers Summer Meet Up

By now you may already know that I created and am a member of New Jersey Latina Bloggers; a community of New Jersey Latina bloggers who are looking to empower other Latinas and themselves to always lead by example by both looking and feeling good inside and out. As well as to share ideas, tips, thoughts and advice via blogging, meet ups and social networking.

I organized to have our very first meet up this past Saturday and it was pretty great. I really enjoyed myself as well as met lots of our awesome members. It is funny how you feel you already know some one through social media.

The meet up was held in Lyndhurst, NJ at Mickey's Bar and Restaurant, the outdoor patio was a beautiful surprise. We had pasta and salad as we sipped & chatted over refreshing beverages. The best part of it all for me, was just engaging in conversation and getting to know each lady on a more personal level. I am really looking forward to the next meet.
