Acai bowls seem to be really popular on my Instagram feed, naturally when I had the chance to visit Juice Journey, a raw vegan Cafe in Edgewater and try their acai bowl and entire menu I jumped on it! I'm no raw vegan expert but let me just say that the Twisted Lemonade cold-pressed juice and Pesto Zoodles were amazing!
As soon as I arrived to the location the view took my breath away, Juice Journey Cafe is located Juice Journey cafe is located at “The Edgewater Harbor Shops” right on the Edgewater waterfront lookout. The beautiful scenic view overlooks New York, it pairs perfectly with the clean modern design of the cafe. I was instantly greeted by two lovely employees who were quite knowledgeable about the menu and were able to recommend an array of products for a newbie like myself.
I started off by trying out the Raw Cinnamon Oatmeal With Apples & Raisins and the Banana Chia Pudding With Cashew Cream. Everything had so much flavor, I was able to taste and feel the textures of just about every single ingredient used.
From breakfast to dessert, our vegan chef creates a variety of delicious, plant based, nutrient dense, enzyme rich food your body wants. Dairy, gluten (wheat), soy and processed sugar have no place in our kitchen!

I tried their cheese cake, although quite tasty and healthy I will continue to stick with traditional cheesecake for now.

Our juices are both nutritious and delicious. Our organic fruits and vegetables are washed in purified water and hand prepared daily. Stems, seeds, rinds, pits and cores are removed to produce the best tasting juice possible. We take more time to make our juice because we think you’re worth it.
The cold-pressed juices are extremely fresh, as with their cafe items are very flavorful. I was able to taste all of the ingredients listed in the juices. The Homemade nut “Mylks” were both something I had never heard of or tried but found so tasty. They have a smooth, thick and creamy consistency. The chocolate mylk tasted just like a chocolate milkshake.
