New for 2016, L’Oréal Paris introduced a range of their Advanced Haircare line for those with dry and very dry hair: Extraordinary Oil and Extraordinary Oil Curls. This collection leverages the power of six powerful essential oils to deliver superior nourishment to hair. Dry, lifeless locks can transform into healthily moisturized, lustrously shiny hair without any grease or weigh down.

Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Collection:

For those with dry, unhealthy looking hair, the Extraordinary Oil Collection is specially formulated with an oil-complex comprised of Amla, Coconut, Soja, Sunflower, Argan, and Chamomile oils to nourish hair every day. Amla Oil repairs coarse hair from root to end; Coconut Oil strengthens hair, and helps it regrow; Soja Oil, derived from Soybeans, helps provide natural moisture balance; Sunflower Oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants; antioxidant-packed Argan and Chamomile Oils help rebuild the hair fiber and leave it shiny and soft.

Designed specifically with the needs of curly haired women in mind, L’Oréal Paris introduces Extraordinary Oil Curls, a variation of the new Extraordinary Oil Collection. The collection includes four of the same oils in the Extraordinary Oil Collection - Amla, Coconut, Soja, and Sunflower - but contains two additional oils unique to the Curls collection, Rose and Flax Oil, which help replenish the definition of curls.

Final Thoughts

Although this line does contain sulfates, I still believe it is a curly girls dream! Soft, silky, smooth, luscious, moisturizing, thick and creamy these are all words that I would use to describe this hair care line. It feels amazing to the touch and leaves your hair feeling the just as described.

Detangling is a breeze, as your hair is left so manageable after having used the products. I would definitely recommend this for those with natural hair, curly hair, relaxed hair or simply anyone with dry to very dry hair because it lives up to what it says it's supposed to do.

Twistout

I test the products on my own hair and then again on my 6 year old daughter's hair. She has, I would say 3c/4a type hair, lots of hair but fine with about 3" shrinkage. Her hair was very easily detangled with this Extraordinary oil curls line. I didn't use a gel to set the twist which is why they are a bit more dull than normal but moisturized and defined nonetheless.
