Taylor Swift 2012 Grammy Awards COVERGIRL Makeup Tut

COVERGIRL Taylor Swift took home the awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance last night at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Taylor rocked a Zuhair Murad dress on the red carpet with makeup by COVERGIRL.

o   DRESS: Taylor selected a sublime Zuhair Murad gown to wear to the Grammys, and that was the inspiration for the look.  The gown had gorgeous hand beading and detailing, and because of that Taylor decided to keep it clean and simple with her makeup and hair. 

o   FACE: Taylor's complexion is absolutely gorgeous and I really wanted it to show through---there is no reason to mask it with a heavy foundation.  COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation was applied very sparingly with a damp sponge, followed with a touch of COVERGIRL TruBlend Minerals Blush in Shimmering Sands giving a natural flush and glow to her skin.

o   EYES: Taylor's eye makeup started with a sweep of COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast in Brown Bling from lash line to just above the crease and then I took it out a bit using my finger.  Taylor loves this color, as it is the perfect natural shadow color--not too grey or orange.  It’s really perfect.  We followed with COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers in Tapestry Taupe in the crease and Golden Sunset on the lid.  I ran COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Brown Blaze along the top and bottom lash line and smudged it a bit with a cotton bud.   For the lashes, I used COVERGIRL LashBlast 24 Hour Mascara. It really makes her blue eyes stand out. 

o   LIPS: Taylor wanted her lips to be very natural, so I applied COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipcolor in Enthrall to her lips with my fingertip to push the color in -- leaving  a nice stain on her lips.

o ROSTRO: La piel de Taylor es absolutamente espectacular y yo realmente quería lucirla-- no hay razón por qué esconderla con una base pesada. Apliqué COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation levemente con una esponja húmeda seguido de COVERGIRL TruBlend Minerals Blush en Shimmering Sands para darle un toque de brillo natural a su piel.

o OJOS: El maquillaje de los ojos de Taylor comenzó con una aplicación de COVERGIRL Intense ShadowBlast en Brown Bling justo encima de la linea de las pestañas superiores y luego usé mis dedos para extender el color hacia el párpado. A Taylor le encanta este color porque no es ni muy gris, ni muy anaranjado; es realmente perfecto para ella. Continuamos con COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers en Tapestry Taupe y Golden Sunset para crear contraste. Tracé una línea de COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner en Brown Blaze a través de las pestañas de arriba y abajo y la difuminé un poco con una punta de

o LABIOS: Taylor quería sus labios muy naturales así que apliqué COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipcolor en Enthrall con la yema de mis dedos para asegurarme que el color se plasmarabien en sus labios—dejando un lindo tinte.
