You probably read my JustFab rant on my Twitter and/or Facebook a couple of weeks ago. I joined about 3 months ago during their buy one get one sale. I really did not need new shoes but who can resist two pairs of shoes for $40 with free shipping?! I will admit I did not read all of the terms & conditions and simply assumed that it was just like ShoeDazzle, you shop if and when you want to. To my huge surprise when reviewing my American Express bill I saw that JustFab had charged me two months in a row but I never bought any shoes! When I called they said that I have to elect to "skip" the month other wise my card is still charged and the money sits in my account as a "credit." I requested a refund and even asked to cancel as well but was told that if I cancel before using my credits I would lose them. How convenient, no? Since I was very unhappy and wanted to cancel as soon as possible, I went in to the site hoping to pick out a cute pair of shoes. No luck they were all either sold out in my size or too high I really prefer not to go over 5" as I am already 5'10" besides I find those platforms chunky and inelegant depending on the style of shoe. I ended up going with the "Guadalupe", it fits a bit snug but I am 35 weeks pregnant so I don't plan on returning them since I think that's why they fit tighter than they should. It is now April which means that I either skip the month or get charged again but I still also have a credit left from the last time I "forgot" to skip. Ironically this month I want not one but two shoes! Crazy since I really don't think they carry many pretty shoes with decent height heels. These are the "Copacabana", I saw and purchased them right away using that "credit" without even browsing much since their shoes tend to sell out fast, especially when fashion bloggers start using them in outfit post. Then I came across these "Averio" heeled sandals, I would have totally got these if I saw them first. I really want to get these but do not want to spend. However if I sleep on them, before a blink of an eye they will be sold out I can assure it. They remind me of the now popular and sold out "Ankara." When I saw them, again I wanted them but did not want to purchase. Too bad I didn't understand that, that "credit" showing in my account was actually what I had been charged. Had I realized I would have purchased them before all of the other fashion bloggers and their readers jumped on them, they now sit in my wait list. Here are my final thoughts on JustFab:
