TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2 - Special Latina Makeup Video!

The epic finale to the Twilight series, BREAKING DAWN PART 2 is in theaters November 16. Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson and Taylor Lautner step one last time into their roles of the beloved Bella, Edward and Jacob as the film picks up right as Bella becomes a vampire. 

After the birth of Renesmee, the Cullens gather other vampire clans in order to protect the child from a false allegation that puts the family in front of the Volturi. Hispanics actors, Mia Maestro and Cristian Carmargo also star in the film as Carmen and Eleazar, vampires who are part of the Denali clan and friends of the Cullens.

In celebration of the film’s release and as a treat for Latina Twi-hards everywhere, we worked with leading Hispanic makeup artist and brow specialist, Marco Ochoa to create a special Latina Twilight makeup video focusing on Mia Maestro’s character, Carmen. Marco goes over a few quick steps to look like a sexy vampiro look in under 5 minutes!

·         Tip #1 / Contouring is a very important step when creating a vampire look. It allows you to accentuate certain features such as temples and cheekbones. It is also very important to build color when contouring, never apply too much at once.
·         Tip #1 / El contorno facial es un paso muy importante para crear una apariencia de vampiro. Te permite acentuar ciertos rasgos faciales tal como las sienes y los pómulos. También es importante aumentar el color para crear contorno facial, nunca hay que aplicar demasiado a la vez.
·         Tip #2 / When creating a smokey eye for a vampire look, go for tones such as dark plum, maroon, grey, or black.  Remember that blending is key to a flawless smoky eye effect.
·         Tip #2 / Para crear una apariencia de vampiro con ojos ahumados, usa tonos como lila oscuro, granate, gris o negro. Recuerda que la mezcla de ambos tonos es clave para lucir un maquillaje ahumado impecable.
·         Ti p#3 / Brows are very important when creating a vampire look. You can change the expression or character of your vampire simply by the way you choose to define your brows. Go for a dark brown or raven color when filling in brows
·         Tip #3 / Las cejas son muy importantes para crear una apariencia de vampiro. Puedes cambiar la expresión o el carácter de tu vampiro simplemente con la manera que escogas como definir tus cejas.  Usa un marrón oscuro o color negro cuando rellenes las cejas.
·         Tip #4 / Burgundy, plum, and berry color stains are all in for this season. Pick any of these when trying to go for that dark vampy look.
·         Tip #4 / Tintes guinda, lila y mora están de moda esta temporada. Escoge cualquiera de estos cuando quieras lucir esa apariencia vampiresa oscura.
